I was invited to lead an intro to the Android Development workshop by awesome people at GDG Daugavpils and Women TechMakers Daugavpils.
Cool people at GDG Riga and several other GDGs from Baltic states held first-ever mobile conference in our region - DevFest Baltics. I was invited to help with reviewing possible talks and other smaller things.
I also adapted my conference companion app from Riga Dev Days for this conference.
I had a chance to lead a workshop about writing Firebase Functions in Kotlin at an awesome DevFest in Prague.
Once again I helped my friends at Riga Dev Days conference by refreshing companion app for this awesome conference.
Fun fact: this was my first usage of Firebase in real-life applications.
I got curious about merging Firebase Functions and Kotlin and as a result made a small blog post about setting up basic project.
To celebrate the release of Kotlin 1.1 together with GDG Riga we organized a small event where I gave a small presentation about upcoming changes in language.
